well hears wat i can think of ...
a15 is keepin it sort of oringinal
a15 dont need a bigger gear box tunnel
but they have there limits in power
if you looking at ca18det hears a quick list diff, fule tank , brakes, shocks, all have to be upgraded but a ca18det will make 140 kw standard and there s a helll of a lot more power to be made if you want

a15s are a great engine but arnt cheap to make decent figures out of an l series conversion is cheap and to make power out of and are a great engine and have the torque and they dont take a turbo to haul ass and dont weigh as much as a ca18det.
l series=cheap to put in 1200
=cheap to make decent figures out of
=sound great
=dont affect handeling much at all as everyone says

Doyle, Andys engine is one of the best a15 going around, you are mad to pass it by. Knowing Andy he has spent probably more than what he has said as he is quite conservative in what he says to satisfy his sanity to his partner.

If I had a dellow t series setup just pop this in and enjoy it.

The 82mm stroke of the a15 is ideal in racing specially with the bigger bores he has done already, JTS and all the famous and successful racing big capacity a-series used the a15 crank. No N/A A-series will match the driveability and pull of an well tuned 1.6 ltr a15.
