In the past 4 weeks 5 ute's were stolen from the parking area at my work.

I installed an anti theft alarm in my ute.

Much better to pay upfront a few bucks, than to pay a hole lot later.

lol, let me get this right...

someone u know has information about ur ute, and he wants cash in return for info???

1) get a carload of mates,

2) beat the crap out of anyone who knows anything on the whereabouts, untill they give u information.

3) retrieve the car and repeat step 2...

it really is a pity, that the police are too worried about defecting hoons than finding real criminals...

LMAO

I just install a little switchy somewhere... that cut's the fuel-pump.... I'll give you the keys and you will not be driving off with mine....

the switch is actually a little 555 IC in a monostable latch configuration. once you have the ignition on, you need to press the button, and it will stay on for as long as the ignition is on, shut down the car, and the latch will disengage automatically, next time you get in, you have to press the button again, so it's not like you can forget to switch it off..

nothing you can do about a tow-truck though... :(

oh by the way.... I'll take that asshole that wants money for the info on your stolen car, to the Cops.... that is, as far as I know, as big a crime as stealing the car in the first place...
