Basically pull it all apart, starting at the pitman arm and sector shaft. The pitman arm only goes on in one position I believe, there is a special spline to align it. But you need some heavy duty tools or an air powered impact wrench to get the bottom nut off the sector shaft. Sometimes you need to use an oxy flame to loosen it up.

Keep it together until you get the pitman arm off, and have loosened the sector shaft nut.

I might be able to scan the section over the weekend, as the manual is with my car, which is not where I live. So, maybe someone else can scan it for you sooner. Depends how badly you need it.

You can't easily disassemble and reassemble it, because it doesn't matter how careful you are during reassembly, the bottom bearing gets pushed out of position, and basically is now rattling inside the steering box.

I know I'm right. Been there...done that.

Bugger bugger ....crap!

I have the same thing and dattodude you have confirmed my fears.
I (thought) I was SOOO careful in putting the bottom bearing back in the right spot, filled it full of grease, and bugger me i have about half a turn of free play.... not good - especially when it's a race car
The bloody 510 wasn't this hard - went in perfectly......
Should have a manual in the next few days and me thinks there will be some reading that needs to be done.

Column moving up and down..easy, you have broken the nylon 'crush pins' from being too rough with the steering wheel when pulling it off. Never Never never be rough with a collapsible steering column.

I've done this too. It's a bit tricky to fix. You need to line up the holes, so the column is the right length, and then, using a large syringe, pump araldite into the holes where the nylon has fallen out. Hold it all still until the araldite cures.

The actual steering column: the bit connected to the steering wheel with the gear stuff on the end that sits inside the steering box.

This column is made of two parts top and bottom. it it made to collapse in an accident. All that keeps the two bits as one piece are bits of nylon injected into the shaft when the nylon is VERY VERY HOT.

When you bash the column these nylon bits are sheered off and the two pieces of the steering column can move up and down, and basically work like crap.

You need to pull it all apart again to fix this.
