so shave a half inch of deck off the L20b block and you would be close to CA

are those weights short blocks or with manifolds and such?

trb012, what is the difference block and bottom end wise between the L series and the z18t? are the Zs any stronger?

CA18DET = 128kg

I thought I had Z18ET weight....but don't.

I'll dig around.

A15 = 93kg by comparison

FJ20ET = 166kg

L20B = 137kg

SR20DET = 149kg

Hope that get's you started.

They would all have to be pretty similar mate all iorn block 1.8's with alloy heads maybe the ca is a bit heavier due to an extra cam? If your planing a conversion go a z so i can know of 1 more on melbourne roads

just been wondering for a while what option would be best weight wise after reading something that said that the CA18det weighed less than a z18t
and im guessing an L18t would weigh about the same as the z18

so if anyone knew the weights of these engines with or without accesories or knew any sites that might help it would be much appriciated, even an educated guess would be a start
