will a performance cam from an a14 engine work in an a15 engine. Also how much horsepower can i get out of an a14 engine(with performance cam, headers or extractors, head work and a set of webers);will it be a big diference doing all this modifications to an a15 engine?

I've never actually changed them over but allmost certain there exactly the same. My A14 has about 150hp with big cam, big ports, big valves, twin 45's, double valve springs, forged flat tops, bored 120thou and is about 1510cc. Its a really tough little engine starts making power at around 4000rpm up to about 7500-8000rpm. I've had the stock tacho off the dial quite a few times and is bloody defining! The A14 and A15 blocks are exactly the same just a different size crank shaft. Most people go for the A15 crank cause its the "stroker crank" and allows bigger cc but the A14 crank allows for bigger rpm. Everyone has there own opinion on what crank to use and which is better etc. Hope this helps :) Scott Davo
