i found some interesting pics on web. just not sure that this "mercedes" is modified from what car. Toyota or Datsun?

Side view kinda looks datsun but definately not in my opinion.

I'm not a huge 1000 person though so i'm no expert but a few things like the positioning of cowl vents, shape of front and rear bar and shape of certain gaurds look off.

Like i said could be wrong though.

poor old 1000 4 door!!! Some 1 has grand illusions with the merc grill.. sort of 80,s style mix & match b4 we all woke up to keep it original... An pink to boot WTF we,re they thinking!!!! Nice find though! Good 4 a laugh
