Does anyone happen have the part numbers for the complete dealer installed AC unit, ie. the compressor, under dash vents/controller etc.? I know it's probably futile but I thought I might try calling or emailing some dealers to see if anyone has a unit or knows where I can get one.

Turboron,
I looked through the Nissan parts system I have and also through the microfiche and could find nothing. They don't even list AC parts as afactory component. If it was an accessory add on type deal at the dealership it would only be available about a year after production. Maybe some of the guys outside of the State may have some numbers.

Thanks a bunch! I was hoping!!! Oh well. It sounds like you're a parts man at a dealer. I called up a local dealer here yesterday looking for bushings for my leaf springs. The guy had to refer me to the manager. When he got on the phone he was pretty suprised at what I was looking for. He had to resort to the "old fashioned" way of looking up parts. Opening up a manual. Imagine that! Anyway he was very helpfull and was able to order the parts. I wonder what kind of response I'm going to get when I call back and ask him for "all" the front end parts???

Call Jock at Bill's Datsun, 503 656-0756 in Portland OR. Last time I was in there about a year ago he said he had a couple of full dealer AC kits still in the boxes.

GARY!!! You Da Man!!! I called Jock and he said he has two "complete" AC systems still in the box. That's compressor, under dash vents, belt adjustment pully, EVERYTHING! He's calling me back with the complete cost tomorrow but he said up front that before shipping it will be about $700. You know, I'm just happy to get one, let alone a brand new one. Can you tell I'm about this? Now all I have to do I let my wife know... It'll be worth it though.

Turboron,
If you want to go in armed with part #'s let me know. I just redid the fornt end on my coupe and it took some time to collect the parts. Strut inserts were avaiable but were on back order. Lower control arm bushings,
stabilizer bushings (outer and inner), stabilizer
links and bushings were available through Nissan. Had to go through AC Delco for tie rod ends, drag ling and ball joints.

Kelmo, boy if you could supply the part numbers that would be GREAT! It took about 15 minutes on the phone yesterday with the Nissan parts manager just to find out the part number for the leaf springs and see if they were available. You guys are making my day!!!
You all can see my project on my web page. I'm going to try to post everything I do on my site. I need to put up some more pics this weekend when I have a little more time. Check it out.

The only things I have so far are the bushings for the leaf springs.
55044-H5001 qty 8
55047-H1000 qty 4
55046-H1000 qty 4

the "55044" # is on back order and I am still waiting on 3 to come in.
The rear shocks are no longer available and if you go after market there is an additional kit to buy to make the sedan ones work.

Kelmo, these are all bushings for the leaf springs? I didn't know there were that many!!
What part of the spring is each number for? For example...
55044-H5001 qty 8 is for...?
55047-H1000 qty 4 is for...?
55046-H1000 qty 4 is for...?

Thanks for the info so far. I'll be waiting for the other numbers when you get time to post.
Thanks

55044-H5001 is for the front of the leaf spring upper and lower.
55047-H1000 is for the rear of the leaf spring lower
55046-H1000 is for the rear of the leaf spring upper.
They are half bushing so 2 per hole

Kelmo
Edit.
I'll try to look later on this afternoon for some otehr stuff....
