Which bushes are you refering to?
There were no 1200 front of rear spring chassis bushes available when I bought mine a little while back & the listed 'short' shackle bushes were too big in the ID when I opened the packet.
Others I spoke to at the time had the same problem.

Have they rectified this problem now?

Turboron, I have the same problem with Nissan right now, I've got the strut cartridges, insulators & bearings on back order & the counter guy doesn't think they'll ever come in.I'm leaving them on order& we'll see what happens.

Your neighbor Kelmo down in AZ., gave me the part #'s & he said if they show up in NIssans system likely their good but it takes awhile. You can buy rear shocks pretty easily, try Schucks, Rockauto.com, Gaberiel shock.

Dodgeman & others - do you have the web links to any of the down under parts houses that carry these bushes & suspension components?

Thanks all!
Evan

Evan,
Hope I didn't get the last set. btw, I'm still waiting for 3 of the rear bushings an the steering idler. someday my parts will come.

edit: the part #'s for leaf springs (USA models, don't think they would be different for anwhere else, but....) are posted in the thread "looking for air conditioning part numbers". I'd post a link uh, but I ain't that computer savvy.....

I must admit,i have had them machined(the big front ones)out of a block of nolathane in the past and for memory it was a reasonably cheap exercise.
As for the gear i picked up the other week, they where the only ones he had out back and where in a dusty bag. Also had plenty of non genuine rubber ones for each pivot point.

Seems like i got lucky for once!

Score!!! - well after much hunting & phone calling I bought a dusty set of original strut inserts off of a Nissan dealer in California, he actually had them sitting on his shelf - amazing!

I bought them through this site - http://www.nissanparts.cc/cart/?pn=56105-H5025 turns out their local for me anyways.

Actually he found the strut cartridges in a CA. dealers inventory, gave me the # & well the rest is history...hopefully, if they arrive.

He did say Kelmo HAD got the last set of spring bushing & I'm screwed on that

They were very helpful & his prices are quite reasonable. I left the other parts on backorder with my other local dealer & if they show up I'll buy those as well. Hell, if they do show I could probably auction them on Ebay for a small fortune.

sometimes I have to laugh at myself for getting so excited over buying a 34 yr. old car part, you feel like you accomplished something when you manage to chase some of this stuff down. Oh its the little things in life I guess.

so how do you get Superpro to respond - I've sent e-mails w/no response??

Anyone down there want to buy Kelmo & I a couple of complete set's of rear spring bushing from Chepa or Auto whatever it was parts & send them off to us? Obviously you'd be paid.

Thanks all!

For me too! I ordered $600 worth of stuff. A dealer in Tacoma, WA called me. He could get $120 of it. Two months later, it arrived. Mostly right, except a couple of parts were the wrong ones...like I ordered a Glovebox door, and they sent the glovebox itself. And I ordered an original key, and they sent a new style key (I figured that would happen so no surprise).

And the parts came in one box, but labeled from all over the country...

HEY! Don't forget about me!!! I need everything mentioned here. Holy cow, now I have to go back and re-read this thread to make sure I don't miss anything. I've got to get all the info written down so I can start checking on all the parts I need!
Now, if you guys can find the Holy Grail or the Lost Ark of the Covenant we'll have something to tell the rest of the world!!

Just to update: the bushings I was waiting for have released from back order so they should still be able to order just takes time.
We'll look for the ark and the grail once we are done resurecting all dattos......
