Score!!! - well after much hunting & phone calling I bought a dusty set of original strut inserts off of a Nissan dealer in California, he actually had them sitting on his shelf - amazing!
I bought them through this site -
http://www.nissanparts.cc/cart/?pn=56105-H5025 turns out their local for me anyways.
Actually he found the strut cartridges in a CA. dealers inventory, gave me the # & well the rest is history...hopefully, if they arrive.
He did say Kelmo HAD got the last set of spring bushing & I'm screwed on that
They were very helpful & his prices are quite reasonable. I left the other parts on backorder with my other local dealer & if they show up I'll buy those as well. Hell, if they do show I could probably auction them on Ebay for a small fortune.
sometimes I have to laugh at myself for getting so excited over buying a 34 yr. old car part, you feel like you accomplished something when you manage to chase some of this stuff down. Oh its the little things in life I guess.
so how do you get Superpro to respond - I've sent e-mails w/no response??
Anyone down there want to buy Kelmo & I a couple of complete set's of rear spring bushing from Chepa or Auto whatever it was parts & send them off to us? Obviously you'd be paid.
Thanks all!
