yepp R30 stumpy will fit, even with a manual tunnel it will fit, needs a massage though, S13 will not fit. needs to be higher at rear of tunnel because the shifter has a large housing and because the shifter is back approx 200mm or so,

if your 1200 is a auto you can squeze the ca18det wit box in ( i have heard )
but no way if your car is a manaul . so for $300 wat exactly do you get ? to cut the tunnel out and weld bigger one in you need grinder and welder can be dont in under 2 hours buy some one that doesnt know wat there doing . if your useing the ca18det gear box you will have to move the hand brake

ok wen i first looked in to doing this conversion ( 1200 ute manual- ca18det) like 6 months ago i was told that the gear box tunnel has to be cut out heeps to fit the box in but yesterday wen to jap motors to get a half cut quote ($2600) and was told to buy a kit and it just bolts on no cuttin or weilding or anythink
i had got a quote from stainless customs on doing the diff and the exhaust and droping the motor in to the empty engine bay but now the guys from jap motors said that its eazy and i could do it my self with a $300 kit from them any one tryed theese kite. is there any cutting and or major mods needed in the gear box tunnel. or any think else that would provent me from doing this at home. thanks allwaysallin You can view topic.
