On 13th of January 2008 will be the first cruise and event for the newly founded A-Series Car Club Inc. It is to open to ANY older cars (not just Datsuns) or any fellow enthusiasts. So tell your family and friends and lets get the old girls out for a run! The main aim for the club is to use it for club rego. And for this we need at least 30 members. Membership is free so the more the merryer!

I have plotted a run Starting in Kalamunda, heading up to Mundaring Weir and finnishing up in Bells Rapids for a BBQ, photo shoot and of cause to become a member! Membership is FREE!

Ill be driving proud in the 1000 and ill try to get Dad to come in his dead original XP Futura Hardtop. And a few Datsun1200.com members will be attending. So if your coming to 1 cruise this year... make it this one!!!



Start Location: Carpark Cr Mead St and Railway Rd Kalamunda.
Departure time: Meet 10:30AM (or earlyer) leave 11:00AM SUNDAY 13th JAN
What you need to bring: You, Family/Friends/Dogs, Food and drink for the BBQ.

Eskys can be provided (2) or you can put yours in Reubens 4WD. He will be tail end charlie and is carting all the cooking gear.

Ok time for a bit of a update!

Been semi-organising this one with Reuben(reubey_tuesday) and he has come up with some good ideas!

The BBQ at the end will be a BYO affair. Reuben will be in a Patrol(his 1000 is under construction) so he will take your esky or you can use one of his! So bring your own snags and drink or whatever you wanna cook. Reuben is bringing a table, chairs, BBQ etc!

The run will be about 1:30hrs start to finnish and approx 60km long.

Guys, I have twelve chairs that i will chuck in the ute, so depending on how many we get, you could end up seatless.

I have two eskys that I will bring along, as in the normal sized ones. My 'BIG' one is still under construction. Perhaps i should get organised and get it made!

Anything that you guys wanna chuck into the back of the ute, you are more than welcome.
