yah dd the one on the orange ute is the closest to what i was thinking,dunno about its colorscheme tho.

Id have to agree with wolki and reuby that within the lines of the ute and a panel van type look would suit best.
Most of the common ones Ive seen just make the ute look a bit...i dunno...grandaddy?

Spewing i dont have my design apps. on this computer as it would be fun to have a play around with some new designs for one...maybe ill have to go and search for my pencil case which has been gathering dust scince i learnt Autocad and photoshop

i'm thinking of making one with the roof and tailgate from my wagon. everything below halfway down the pillars is stuffed anyway so i'll just get the 9in grinder out and lop it off. the tailgate is perfect though, except for the latch area on the bottom, might just fold up a half-tailgate and use the wagon one as a template.
