Just as a little bit of useful information, cefiro's and im pretty sure laurels use the same 4 stud brake setup as s13's. That includes wheels studs. So they might be a hell of a lot cheaper than s13 setups at wreckers etc.

If you can do the machining yourself then you might want to look at how I have done my setup. I used the drum struts so you end up with bigger stub axles and only 2.5mm track increase either side

An option if it hasn't been mentioned is going to a Wilwood caliper, they make a whole host of sizes that will fit in small wheels and can be used with a solid rotor.

I'm trying to get those added to the brake swap wiki.
they work with the vented rotors too.

Actually, it's quite easy to do the swap with none of those things.

When you take the stock struts off, find someone with a plasma cutter to cut off the stock 1200 spring perches. You can then set those inside the 280ZX spring perches and weld them in place. Then you just fit up the 1200 springs, and upper bits. Works a treat and only requires some minor cutting/welding, not extra custom parts.

or you can do that...

I suppose it can be done fairly cheap and be nearly as good.

Camber plates might be nice since there isn't really any adjustment of the camber normally.

Here where I live we have found an excellent brake upgrade.Unfortunately it is for newer "bakkie" struts that you guys don't have there on your side.I have noticed that the old 1200 setup the calipers are at the back of the struts. The newer 1400 "bakkie" struts the calipers are at the front. So, with a brake upgrade that will consist of bigger calipers, there is no need to worry anymore about a caliper that might hit the steering arms and stuff.
I still need to see if this setup will fit under 13" rims because I want to do this upgrade to my own GX as it currently has the stock "bakkie" strut/brake setup.
What I must mention is that all you guys are talking about old setups that are already old and difficult to get parts for here in ZA.Example, 280ZX,etc.
The setup that we are using is late 2000 model Nissan Almera (Pulsar in Aus) brake discs.Apparently they fit over the hub without drilling new holes. And then Ford Focus calipers. Also a late 2000 model.
Just need to make a adapter plate to bolt the caliper in the right position.
This setup is currently on a friend's 1400 "bakkie". He was a go-cart driver once and knows how to work brakes HARD.
I once went for a spin with him.
3 times in a row. from 0km/h to 200km/h and back again to 0km/h.
When I got out of the car I immediately looked at the discs to see if they overheated and there was nothing.
