hey guys, bought a pair of rims today, with 205/45/16 tyres today, reasonably cheap. i am intending to put them on a stock '71 sedan. i am unsure about offset, as i dont know how to mesure it! but here are some pics anyway if it helps??? i am just looking for any opinions on the best way to get them to fit?? or what have other people done, if any one?? cheers

well the good news is they're so FWD offset that you could get lug adaptors made.

the bad news is those adapters probably aren't road legal where you are.

oh and also you'll probably have problems with the tires rubbing the fenders.

They will hit the strut, if you space them out they will have to lip the guard heaps. My pintara stockies which are 14x5 and about +25 offset hit the drum strut I needed a 3mm spacer to clear that and only had about 8mm to the guard, and because of my castor I had to cut the front of the guard away. That was with 175x60x14's bridgestones, I dont think your going to get them to fit.

Are they even 114.3 pcd?

In regards to offset, those wheels you have there would be about +60 or more. Which spaces the wheel 60mm inward from the centreline of the wheel. Ie. Zero offset means the hub mounting face is in the centre of the wheel.

back of a sedan is tricky for 205s. The inner guard is stepped to reinforce the door opening. Mine rubbed on there badly before I got stiffer springs.

yeah they are 114.3pcd, they fit on the hub. but hit the strut. already contemplated getting spacers and longer studs, but thought id ask first, dont wanna be throwing away money for nothing. but i doubt ill bother if they are going to hit the fenders too. too much stuffing around for now, ill stick with my 14' stockies. i guess the next question is, will i have trouble fitting my 14' wheels, not sure what they are off of either? sorry for the lack of info on everything. havnt had a great deal of experience with dattos.

hey i have 16s with 195/45 and have no dramas rubbing anywhere on my sedan just watch how much you lower it and use spacers to fit it to get +20which is what i have you may need +25
