I have been offered a LUCAS 15 AC What is the differance please?

Why do the British drink warm beer? They all got Lucas fridges. Can't you find an Hitachi or other quality Jap replacement alternator?

Even easier: use a B210 or B310 alternator and it is a pure bolt-on, no changing of pulley needed.
But with all "internally regulated" alternator swaps (including Lucas or Nissan) into a 1200, you will need one of these, or its equivalent: Jumper Wire

I think no one knows. Look for a mid-1980s sentra or pulsar.
