I think there may be 1 or 2 that have, more likely is they swapped in an IRS rearend, for all the work changing from leaf springs to coil springs and 4 link.

It has been done in NZ many times. I thought about doing it but ended up buying some JTS leaf springs and Konis from a fellow forum member and they work a treat. What are you trying to achieve? Is it for a race car?

I did it in my sedan.

We didn't make plans for other people to follow,

I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn't do it again if I was building up another car.

Have you any idea what those JTS springs are worth new?

Can't remember exactly but from memory they were around the A$400-450 mark. Could be more now though that was a few years ago.
Doesn't seem cheap but when you consider the costs of four-linking: 2 coil springs, 10 rod ends, tube and other materials and welding and cutting consumables, not to mention time which I think people forget the value of (I know I do) they start to look pretty good value!
Maybe the four link is a better system for outright performance I don't know but a lot of quick cars still run leaf springs.

What are you setting the 4 link up for ?
Drag or circuit racing or Street , ?

Iam using a SATCHELL 4 link , with leaf springs still for circuit racing , but iam going to change over to a coilover shock and add a watts link soon ,, For Drag racing the CALTRAC Links on leaf Spring have been proven to work very well ,, But not for Circuit racing ..
