ok some may remember my old orange 120y coupe, (background of pic) and how i attempted to do a l16 conversion, got nowhere, then gave it to a mates dad.. anyway in the mean time ive been driving another, dad bought it for himself, and i bought it off him,

as our old computer died, i have no old photos of it :( so thats the only one i have..

ANYWAY, now the cars mine and the orange cars gone, i've put the wheels on it and upgraded the sterio, new shocks, basicaly just tried to keep it clean..

BOW BOW :( someone ran up the back of it didnt really do much to it, but dented it pretty bad, no insurance, no fixies... it also copped a shopping trolled one windy night at Woolies (supermarket for internationals) again smashed a guard indictor and dented it, woolies wouldnt claim it so no fixies again..

Good 6 months later i decided i'd fix the "pass a golf ball through the guard" rust..

it started there, soon enough i moved from the guards to the small dents and eventually its at the stage where it need a respray..

more photos soon, i should be keeping a good log of photos for this..

Something special coming soon ;)

The Y is looking good Tom.

I kick myself for telling you about that Vanette now. It looks to be in fairly good condition.

Will there be a few parts being interchanged between the Van and coupe?

lol, you got the last a15's that just wouldnt be fair..
yeah my cousin lloyds buying the diff for his 75 corolla, and im using the a15,
ive located a h165 ute diff for the coupe, reason for not using the 190 is its 8.5" thats massive! too big and heavy.. plus the bluebird discs will still go on the 165.. keeping the elec windows, see if i cant hook them up to the Y..

if anybody wants anything LET ME KNOW NOW, as it will be a block of steel on saturday..

OH and i got my Exedy HD clutch today.. :D

A lightened Flywheel would go well with that Clutch Tom. Now I wonder who has one sitting in their shed????

Yep thats the one. RWD A15 Sunny's and FWD N10 Pulsar's have different flywheels. So its useless to me. I think I should put an add out for it.

Hi tom how are you?
So your putting in an A15 motor in your Y.
Are you going to be giving your coupe a new paint job or just a general tidy up of dents, rust etc.
Keep the pics coming of your progress

Just thought I 'd let you know that I scored myself another 60 series overdrive 5-speed normal shift pattern gearbox yesterday.

May put it in my white coupe, but don't know yet.
Anyway keep up the good work on your coupe.
