How is a Ford 9" going to help? That is way too heavy for a small-output engine.
If I recall correctly, Pitroad is selling new H150 LSD for $1000 USD.

I looked at the Pitroad site just a couple of days back & the H150 LSD is still on the NLA list, the same as it was when I checked a year ago. I was hoping that with enough interest they might have gone back into limited production, but apparently not.
Supply & demand control the market value & supply seems to be almost zero. The Ford 9" is the sort of thing that you use with engines over 400hp, with torque to match, & a heavy car, but unless you have this much power [or more] & plan on flogging the living bejesus out of it, then the mere though of using a 9" Ford rear end in a small Datsun is downright laughable as the only things you'll get are an empty wallet, a bad ride & a lower performance than your car deserves as these suckers weigh heaps & suck up more power to just turn them then you even want to think about.

Musta been somewhere else I saw it. The new H165 units are about $1000 also (TRD brand).

This is copied directly from the relevant Pitroad page.
21. NISMO H145, H150 and H165 L.S.D. . . H145-H165 production abolition. If this is correct, then the NISMO LSD's are NLA in all three nominated sizes, but the H165 one could easily be available from another manufacturer. The H150 unit was never a big seller, yet for use behind the short stroke engines these could easily be the best choice.

Pitroad and Matsuoka Engineering do offer a modified TRD H165. Apparently the body of the hemisphere is machined down to receive the smaller Nissan /Datsun bearings [compared to the toyota ones] to mount the hemisphere in the carrier.

What I've read is that the TRD unit is not modified, but you need
* the right bolts * certain H165 carriers fit, others don't Does the Pitroad or Matsuoka page actually say modified? I guess I'll have to search the wiki... ah here it is:Quote: Pitroad sells a brand new LSD for the H165B axle (1985-up Sunny Truck) for about $1200 USD. It is from TRD (Toyota Racing Development) and is a bolt in when using the AE86 ring gear bolts. Pitroad H165 LSD
