Welcome and nice to see another ute being saved from the scrap metal yard.

Yeah they will look ok for the ute, I prefer the stock or oldschool look, but would look good with a nice set of big light weight rims, but not the shinny ones, the race ones.

whats the engine plan?

thanks for the comments guys yea this shell was going to be a scrap pile but decided that the panels are to straight
and the rust that is elsewhere can be repaired but unfortunately the second shell that is complete will end up
cut into pieces as a doner car but will have a new lease of life as a box trailer
as for the engine for now im sticking with the stock a12 that is coming in the 2nd ute i pick up next week
until i get it on the road then one day in the near future im looking at either a 12a rotary or a ca18 haven't decided yet
the red ute currently has nice little mini tubs that look cool but don't really serve any purpose
im also looking into s13 coil over front struts and brake upgrade

It looks good. It should end up with a similar look to the factory steel skirts as fitted to Dattodevil's ute.

yea im debating weather or not to fully mold them to the panels or have them bolt on as yet if i was to mold them in i will have to cut the front at the front guard so when the front guard is removed the front half comes 2
