I hear what you're saying Wayne. Nah, we've just turned up larger crank pulleys. My Dad is always on my case saying we need to make a smaller pulley (for the blower) and crank up the boost. If I do give in to him, we'll have to do what you just described and make a pulley boss out of the inner part of the toyota pulley hub.
Something else kinda on topic, My mates S/C 12 set up has the blower mounted over and under, with a custom manifold flanged onto the blower intake. (Obviously) He originally had a single 40mm solex mikuni, but couldn't get it to run. So he made a manifold to fit the sidedraft manifold which uses a 32/36 I gave him. ANYWAY, his carb manifold gets really cold after a good thrashing. None of this cold reaches the manifold on the blower because he has a soft mount kit between the two. But it got me to thinking. With my carb being directly over the supercharger, the evaporation induced cooling must be transmited into the blower lobes. One might think that this could prevent the lobes getting heat soaked, and lead to (At least marginally) cooler itake temps.

Blowers were first fitted to 4 cylinders in the late 1920's. Ol Henry didn't produce his first bent 8 until 1932...It wasn't the first V8 but blown 4s came first.

Been doing some research and talking to other people and turbo sounds cheaper!
I mean i could make a manifold myself just about, just get my boss's mate to weld it up properly for me. Turbos are usualy cheaper then a SC12/SC14 too. Ill just plumb it back into the standard inlet too. Would do a water/meth system too using the whole washer motor idea. I have a couple of free A12s to play around with and blow up anyways.
