It will say right on the engine if it is A14 or A15. Look at the flat plate by the distributor. Wipe it off and read the engine type.

On Ratsun we talked about the blue valve cover paint black. The conclusion was that it was probably not a newer engine. Sounds like you missed that part of the conversation?

you where right, off of my 98 frontier. i put 18" titans on the fronty. the center caps don't fit up front, make them look a bit older maybe. i am going to paint the hubs and of course take the caps off the back. i am not driving the 620 yet. need to fix the brakes, and lower it.

about the motor, i can't believe i didn't notice the blue paint coming out around the edges. someone on another forum said it was a 90's motor cuz the black and i just assumed he was right. so since it's the 5-speed i belive it should be the A14. am i right? i also heard the 5-speed version was their super gas saver model and was really slow, so when i drove it and it felt pretty peppy, i was thinking he was right about the a15.

Looks like the valve cover used to be good old Datsun blue.....
I like the Frontier wheels on the 620, looks pretty cool.

Edit: on second thought, those wheels look older than Frontier,,,,Hardbody (D21) maybe?

Yay! Another b210! I pulled the bumpers off mine too. Gonna have a custom grill made for mine to hide the giant hole in the front.
Have fun.

what is the normal way of lowering it?
In america, the 'normal' way is to cut the front coils, and use lowering blocks in the back.

The advanced, better handling way (and standard way in Australia) is to fit new coil springs and re-arched leafs. For example, Quickor used to sell the set. And Quickor will still make a set on request.
