well the one i made was a bit excessive i'll admit for any A series, and its hurt my midrange torque having it on the ute, but here is a pic of mine.
![]() and another ![]() Take note that i have since put another ressy in where the pipe heads up over the axle. it was just way too loud and too lacking in back pressure!!!! although now i'm going turbo it won't be an issue anymore... i would reccomend against going 2.5" to anyone who wants to keep the car roadworthy/get the car raodworthied.

I am running a 2" exhaust with a freeflow box in the middle and also freeflow box at the standard rear location on the sedan. After the last box I am running a 2,5" pipe and have the chrome dump pipe.Looks good and sounds good. Not too loud.

im in the 2.5" ss scenario, had 2" and it just didnt look bigg enough ahhahaha well that and it got wraped around my diff one day. ive got two straight through mufflers and yep its loud but bearable it sound heaps good when ur giving it some stick, as for rego nothing two dodgy baffle plates didnt fix!!! also im thinking of adding another straight through as it is a highway daily.. no tip just straight pipe.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() edit: hahah just relised u just want to know how to finish ur system not the hole thing lol my bad, like i said just straigh pipe no tip just under the body so no one sees, needs a long tip put on it to get it through rego

Geez, Us Kiwis get it to easy!. But after 18 odd years as an exhaust fabricator, we just bend up a inch pattern pipe as a sample to scan, send off to Autobend in Christchurch to be mandrel bent in the diameter of your choice!!!. PS This isnt even Kiwi ingenuity,!!

well bigD ive got a 1200 coupe with an a15, its got 4 into 2 extractors that turn into 2 inch, it then goes into a lukey formula ford muffler. now because its a race car it comes out the side after that, but when it was on the road it had another muffler before the diff and then just straight out 2 inch all the way. i preffered this because all i could hear before that was the lovely twin 40dcoe weber induction sound, but now its got a side pipe on it, its just plain loud, with a hint of the weber sound lol
but i still like it bottom line is, if you like it, go with it. You can view topic.
