I was using s13 studs on my kb110 disk brakes and they were:
47mm long overall
42mm long minus the head
19mm dia head

And i picked up some exra long beasts for the s13 brakes onto kb110 struts.
They came in at:
77mm long overall
72mm long minus head
19mm dia head

so i have an extra 64% (30mm) in length.
Part numbers from repco :

stud: S4570
Nut: NN421

Wheel nuts are the usual 12 X 1.25 thread




Thought someone might be interested.
If you where to use these new studs in the drum brake hub you'd need to put a flat in the round head. easily done with a file or a quick zap from the angle grinder/bench grinder. just make sure you dont heat the crap out of them.

Good info. I wonder if the Nissan parts are still available:
* 40222-A0220 2" wheel studs (for disc brakes)
* 40222-H5020 2" wheel studs (for drum brakes)
Fits: B110, B210, B310

to use these longer studs it appears you'd probably have to take the backing plates off which means new wheel bearings. With the studs i've used, all i had to do was take the brake shoes off, then slip the studs through one of the two holes in the axle flange. To put longer studs on the front, you have to separate the disks from the hubs any way, so putting these studs in wouldn't be any harder.Maybe some of the rear disk brake setups allow you enough room.

Very timely Chris. I'm expecting my caliper plates to arrive from brendan on tuesday. I ended up scoring a pair of s13 rotors and calipers with near new pads for $20, off a silvia forum. The guy even lived super close to me as well.
I've sat the rotor an caliper inside my 13" mag, and located it with the hub. And much to my delight, the caliper can slide all the way around the rotor, without fouling on the mag.
Just need to get the longer studs and I'm in bizzo!

Price, retail the studs are 10$ or $10.50 each but i scored them through someone i know there for a couple of dollars cheaper

The 4 stud brakes and rotors are dirt cheap ae. i love it. Would be good to hear how your assembly goes. The brackets i got from brendan fit well. i think i will use the disk hub so i dont have to use a spacer between bracket and caliper. I dont care about a few millimetres in track increase, it was just to show people it can be done.

I knocked the studs into the disk hub this morning and they look huge haha. Will probably end up cutting them down to size. better long than short.

I have shank style nuts on my mags. So too much length may allow the treads to bottom out, before they clamp up tight against the wheel. That would be bad news.

Who ever would have though too much length could be a bad thing?
