Yeah I have herd that there stronger, but will only run datsun parts in my car.

you can buy an L series 63a? dogleg for around $250...lets all convert to L series

Although they are cheaper most of them have been flogged inside out and have second gear issues. Even the stumpy skyline 5 speeds are getting very hard to find in any sort of condition. I have wondered if the A series 63 and the L series 63 are the same gearbox with a different front casing. Probably not.
