bad310 this is great stuff, I have read that using 280zx front struts is a very good upgrade for the 310 as you get vented rotors and bigger calipers, would you have preferred to go this way? I like the fact that you have used the 310 strut and modified it to use the s13 rotor/caliper setup, was th emachining work straight forward? Its a shame that r31 diffs cannot be got here in the UK, H190 far more widesprerad but we never got any with lsds.

In my car I have an R31 Skyline limited slip diff with the 28 spline axles, a custom 3" tailshaft and the motor (obviously) with the standard SR20 five speed. As far as brakes go, I have S13 SR20 rotors and calipers up front with the R31 rotors and calipers on the diff. I am still using standard B310 struts with upgraded inserts and coils, I also have upgraded gas struts and coils in the back.
Here is a pic of my skyline diff compared to the tiny looking standard diff. Here is the pic showing my caliper mounting. Here is the pic showing the hub machined down to fit inside the rotor.

Several 310 SR20 projects!! Wow show me more as I have hardly seen anything relating to 310s at all on the net (and thats not because I dont search!). What rear axles are being used to support the torque/hp of an SR engine and what front struts are people using with their setups? Having the engine in is only part of the deal, Id be really keen to know how teh rest of teh drivetrain is being modified.

My 1200 with a ca18debt has a 23mm front bar, and it only oversteers at the moment. I hope to correct that with some small adjustments, and might have to include a rear swaybar.
what are the sway bars suitable for 1200? after market or other cars item modified to fit?

It'd be good in a B310.
With 300+hp in a 1200, the doors stop closing after a little while and the paint starts cracking around the doors and the joints that are leadwiped. It does unbalance the car..lets not try to lie to ourselves. But it does make for a fun car! ![]() My 1200 with a ca18debt has a 23mm front bar, and it only oversteers at the moment. 310, .By far the better option , wider chassis rails ,huge engine bay , large wheel arches and housings ,big tunnel coil rear end the list can go on ,overall a bigger, and i would suggest stronger chassis . But then only my theories, good luck hope this helps....
