dont worry about the rims and whether they comply, just borrow some stockies for the inspection.

yeah i know Don, not happy at all.

Thanks everyone for your information i really appreciate it. i will speak to QLD transport tommorow and find out whether i have to put a passenger side mirror on my car.

The biggest bummer about this hole situation is i am currently on 1 point. I get my opens in 8 days and i got a defect fine. So i am not sure if this is counted as 1 point?

if so i lost my license 8 days before i got my opens

Get your facts right, then memorised and in writing.
Then take it to court where if everything you have said is correct you will win (in my opinion)and more importantly get you lost points re instated.

Wheel track is measured from the vertical centerline of one tyre to the vertical centerline of the other tyre on the same axle [front wheels are regarded as being on one axle, even if on IFS]

As has been said, your wheels are 13"
1" is 25.4mm.
The measurement from rim to top of tyre would be the tyre sidewall height. The word diameter refers to the size of a circle, like a wheel.

Obviously the rules about mirrors are quite different in Qld.

with the mirror thing you are correct if the vehicle did not come out with them when made it is not compulsary. i had a xm falcon they i did up some years back it did not come out with mirrors or seats belts. i thought there was no way to get it regoed but found that i was ok. (front seat belts were installed for my safety but the back seats were free as a bird). if worst somes to worst qld transport can inform you of the rules and regs

What a bummer Milan. All that effort to get the ute going again only to be shut down by The Fuzz... Hope it gets sorted easily.

Hey thanks so much for the information its great. I will go out to my car this morning and check all the load ratings and make sure they are equal to or above the load ratings shown here on your post.

The only question i have is about this here - The original wheels were 4" wide & the rear track is 49" [1245mm?] A 1" increase in rim diameter, particularly since the tyre size doesn't go below 60 series shouldn't ruffle any rego departmental feathers.

When you say track was 49" do you mean from outside of tyre to other outside of tyre? or where do you messure from? I think he told me it can be no greater than 25mm?
And a real stupid question, but which one is rim diameter? from rim to top of tyre?
