lets get the thread back on track . my stock ca18det ute can light up 3rd gear in the dry and no brakes , so with more boost and bigger turbo i would think 4th gear is posable .

what boost u running perthute?

stock boost atm, i need a LSD diff befor i turn the boost up

FWIW, I'd be disappointed with anything less than 180rwkw from a ca18det with gt28 on 16psi, which is a lot more likely to lose traction in 4th than 140kw. I was also forgetting you have a single spinner diff.

yer my stock ca with 13 psi lit up 4th easy as. with a locked diff and that was awsome also destroyed my mates 5lt commodore that he just spent 4 grand on but hey if ya wont to play with boat ankers thats wat u get haha

ill vouch for the spinning in 4th gear, but remember crzy_1200_ute, you are running an open peeler..., one day i will have my ca ute on the road, with a Lsd all the way...
all im keen for is 150kw's atw's and get into the 12 second bracket... maby if they actually build a drag strip in s.a.

yeh im getting a lsd aswell, and ill still light it up. trust me,

yer i just put one of the r31 skyline diffs in mine with 3.9 diff gears from maddat so no more braking axles but instead my motor blew so in process of building new one never ends
