wow, ur government sucks for cars.
I can go out and put 13x11's all round on my datto right now as long as the tread is in the gaurds. but that doesnt matter, will just fit a 1UZ-FE to pull the extra rolling resistance.

Yes Jeff Taylor did fit a 1500 crank in a 1200 block. This was done to overcome the regs for prod rally car to run the standard block. it can be done..alot of sorting though
I would just get the 1200 to rev to 10,000rpm...more satisfying!!!

I think Dodgeman pretty much explained it in as much detail as you're going to get it. If you read his reply you will know what to get.

Fcuk, I didn't even know that it would be possible to run a A14 crank in a A12, I would have though you'd get to much stroke and the piston would come out the bottom of the sleeve... But I guess that's why some of us has experience on some engines and others don't...

Dodgeman when you say "...relatively low mileage street use..." what do you meen? give me a number...hehe...would nissan sell a14 crankshafts? cause over hear in Portugal you can only find A12's...nothing else...peace...
