hey guys my ca has been playin up a little and i did a led diagnosis test, it flased the code 34 which is a knock sensor, now the guy i was talkin to said the knock sensor is under the 2nd and 3rd intake manifolds, so i had a bit of a look and i cant spot anything... i found a green plug were it looks like a sensor should be but im not sure, u guys wouldnt be able to help me out, what am i looking for? i dont have another to comare it to which makes it a bit hard, any help would be awsome pics to lol, pictures make everything clearer, thanks guys- kev

yea that green plug is your detonation sensor mine isn't plugged in either, i'd like to know if this affects the motor much too cos i had a look in my ca manual and most of the plugs in that area are on their own loom which i don't have most of them plugged in. so yea would be good to know how much this effects the engine performance

does alot for engine perofmance because it adjust timming on your engine as your drive so you get the best advance out of your engine, thats what hsv added to the old vns v8 to make them alittle better performance wise

the single wire plug is oil pressure sensor the two wire plug is ya knock sensor

im pretty sure all ca18 have knock sensors unless there running aftermakert ECU gear

heres a pic of wat the knock sensor wire plug looks like on my ca18det theres a green plug comming out the block under the intakes, middle of block
