Can anyone tell me how I might tell if the front spring eye bushing inside diameter on my leaf spring is 11mm or 13mm? Now before someone replies and says to "measure it" let say that I've done that and it looks to be 11mm. My problem is that I can't find that bushing size in the states. I've had two different responses from Tein/Super Pro and one said it would be 6 weeks and one said 2 to 3 months. I've also had a good response from Mad Dat and they have the bushing but just don't know if thiers is the 11mm ID or the 13mm ID. They didn't say. I just want to make sure of what I have first before I order anything from clear "down under." Is there a hard and fast rule for telling the size of the bushing that comes on such and such model of 1200? Any and all help appreciated.

Datsun 1200s (B110 sedan, B110 coupe) use the same bushing. Wagon uses a different one.

EDIT: The USA catalogs are wrong. They show the upper bushing in the wrong place (55044-H5001). The 1974 and 1997 catalogs both show it wrong. No wonder the parts men can't find it.

The front eye bushing should be:
55045-H1000 BUSHING-rear suspension, front (4 needed, two each side).

Wagon & Truck (ute) use 55045-H1400

Polyurethane bushings out of Mexico: Parbo

Nissan USA still lists them at $3.25 each.

DD,
thanks for the help! I'll call my local Nissan dealer in the morning with the part number you listed.

[The front eye bushing should be:
55045-H1000 BUSHING-rear suspension, front (4 needed, two each side).]

The parts guy found all the other rear bushings except for that one. He said they're not listing that one anymore. With this new info I can hopefully put my leaf springs and axel back on this weekend.

Bad news. I called the dealer with the new number and they said Nissan doesn't even manufacture them anymore. A place in Washington listed them as being in their stock but the system was wrong. Looks like Mad Dat is the place I'm going to go with and hope the the inside diameter of the bushing is the size I need. Thanks DD for the help.

e-mail Kelmo on this site (search Kelmo) & he can get them for you. I got a complete set of front & rear bushes from Titus Nissan in Olympia & i know Kelmo ordered them for himself & got them as well.

I ran the part #'s last night before I left work, and they are still available but about half of them are on back order.
Gonna look through the microfiche this am to try and find the # that DD posted.

OK.......DD is right. The 55045-H1000 is the lower front leaf spring bushing. It is not listed in the B110 catalog but is listed in the B210 catalog and the # is NLA (dang dang dang).
There is a # 55045-H8500 that I am going to find the application for. Will update later.

Kelly
Edit: the H8500 # fits a 210 (B310) and is not a leaf spring bushing
