Hi , I am new to the site. I purchased a 1200 ute (always wanted one) and read up on the upgrades.

My question is there any way of upgrading without pushing out the front wheel closer to the guard because of the ball joint. Is there any way of modifying the lower control arm (perhaps oval the holes).

Lastly with the upgrade is there any issues with wheel alignment because the front is out 15mm compared to the back.

Thank in advance.

PS: the information on the site is great for a new person like me.

you can use late 120y or 1200 ute balljoints and then you only gain about 10mm track due to the struts themselves, but you will have a lot of positive camber with will not be good

s13 brakes upgrade on 120y struts will give the same track increase, but you will be able to have some neg camber.....less wheel clearance to the strut though

should be any troubles with wheel alignment, obviously it will have to be realigned after you but the struts in though

Bit confused, from the brake and suspension swap information it say, the ball joints are different between the 1200 and sunny/stanza. From my understanding the ball joint taper taper is different.

Any thought will be of great help.

from normal 1200 to stanza it is, but late 1200 utes have different front suspention components to that of the earlier 1200s
