No. Its an A15 late model head. Just because it has double valve springs it doesn't automatically make it a GX head.

H89 heads aren't gx heads. They come on A15's.

Cheeky bugger. It came off the A15 in your Vanette didn't it? It doesn't have the raised ports of a GX head. Just standard oval port. I remember looking at it next to the JTS head. The JTS head had raised ports but the other didn't. Thats why I didn't want to pay $300 for it.

I'm with Revhead,if memory serves,a GX head has cast in the top side "NISSAN"and thats it! I'm sure Dodgy will pick me up if i'm wrong.
Off the subject a little i have both high and low comp A15 heads here with oval ports.
Hope this helps.

i dont appreciate u saying that. especially when im about to sell it. i can tell u now looking at a A15 head and looking at this one it aint no A14/15 head. raised ports like in the gx pic, **hi comp chamber**, double valve springs. ive put a stock inlet gasket on this b4 and it coverd the top of the inlet ports. im dead sure its gx. its the worked jts one u saw revhead001. this didnt come of my vanette!

Low comp heads have H72 cast into the top don't they? I think most A14's have them.

Pitcures say a thousand words. I remember looking at the H89 markings when I bought the A15 off you. And I also remember how toey you got when I said I think it's not a GX head in october last year. It very well may be but you hear the letters GX getting thrown around alot and the young blokes get excited and spend money first and ask questions later. And someone will be very pissed if they buy it and it's not. So post a picture. If it's a GX head I'll apoligise,

EDIT. By the way. I've got 2 H89 heads. Now 1. Sold one to 1200wags. Not GX. Got another 1 as well in the shed. Not GX either. Both High comp, late model, slightly larger valve A15 heads.
