Didn't you once say that you're six feet tall? 1000 miles in a 1200 ute will be torture lol.
Good score though.

Well, the old Datsun ute brought me home, 965 miles without any major problems. It tracks perfectly on the freeway (unlike a stock 1200) and drives like a race car.

I was reading your comments, but this stupid new phone wouldn't let me sign in to post...that was quite frustrating.

I am 6' 1" tall, and no problems in the ute. It has these 'cobra' or 'daytona' type race buckets which are hard to get in/out of, but once in was comfortable. 23 hours on the road and my back is not sore or anything.

So it was/wasn't for sale. I saw it in the JCCS pictures last October and asked around about it. Reports were that it looked quite nice. Somebody told me the name of the owner and his business so I was able to find their phone number and called a few times until they agreed to sell it. It has taken about three months to get the deal together, because it was "not for sale".

Different seats would be a big help. I sold my old ute, becuase the cab was just too short, and my knee's would be killing me if I spent too long in the seat.
I like the wheels btw.
