the next step was to cut start on the tray lip so out came the angle grinder for some fun
![]() ![]() and then the rain gutters aswell plus a small amount of fill after all the panels were welded, to reduce warping it was welded in sections of about 20cm. ![]() whilst the gutters were removed some rust patchs were replaced with new metal ![]() the side panel was replaced as it had too much rust ![]()

the color ascot green was chosen but now wont be the color as im going with the new ford gunmetal grey color.
![]() the side indicators were adjusted to fit honda civic indicators ![]() ![]() the engine was memoved ![]() and then tidied up, most of the joins were high filled and the ca was installed ![]() intercooler and radiator postion was also decided ![]()

There are droplets of liquid in the shot with the civic lights on the bare-metal guard. What is it? Are you using a liquid to cool the steel as you weld to stop warping? All looks very good, there's some top workmanship there.
