it appears as if some people like having their good old dattos but wanna modern them up a lil too much. if u want a trick dash that looks the #### with all the gauges get another vehicle. if u want simple and real clean looking keep your original dash, cover in new fabric and chuck a bit of paint on it. thats what i did with mine and it looks badass and is 100% datsun.

its all up to the owner of the car i suppose some people like the stock look and others like the modified look as usaual there will always be a difference of opinion and taste

Does putting a CA18DET count as a trick engine? Would the quote be - if you want to put a CA18DET into a Datsun - get another vehicle...

well it looks like there is alot of opinions on whats good and whats not..in my case i like both, thats why i have more than one 1200 one is the old school style with the a series and one all the new gear with the ca.

In my opinion a remoulded 1200 dashpad and coupe facia is pretty hard to beat.

Im holding my tongue regarding those alternate dashes...
