anyone using a wideband AFR meter on their datto?

in particular the 'Innovate LC-1' model or the 'PTX DM-5' model?

im thinking of running either of these and leaning towards PTX at the minute.

would love to hear others experience's and opinions on the matter..

Is there a Bosch wideband AFR that looks OK?

(I might be able to get them a bit cheaper than retail)

I don't think there is a bosch complete unit ben but most of them use bosch sensors.

I'm currently using an innovate LC-1 and have no complaints. It's very simple to just plug in and use but i havent' got to data logging yet. I know that the mate I borrowed it off uses it with his megasquirt ecu and doesn't even use the innovate software.

I don't have any experience with the other one but there is nothing wrong with the innovate ones.

Ahh I see it's in a kit.

I guess if they had a price on their kit with and without the sensor I could see if it would be cheaper....I'll look into it for the future.

I too have an LC-1. When it works it's great.
They are a bit sensitive to how you wire them. You have to watch where and how you ground.
There apparently was a batch that has a problem. It will recalibrate itself after start up on occasion. This obviously throws the reading off.
I've been too busy to pull it out and return it for repair.

I've been using an innovate mter, but it's a handheld, not an in dash gauge. Takes al the guess work out of tuning. The mate who loaned it to me uses the data logging/mapping etc on his link ecu'd S6 rx7

ive done some reading on both...

the only deciding difference ive found so far is that the PLX apparently doesnt require re-calibration ever.

price could be a deciding factor once ive priced them up though..

has anyone done a comparison of the readings from their meter while on a dyno reading afr?
