long overdue update..

I had the tailshaft and headers/exhaust done at westside, excellent work, very happy!

after some heat in the headers

after firing the car i found a leak, holes drilled into the venting resevoir for the fuel system, while taking the tank etc out to investigate i change my return line to braided to match my other fule lines SAFETY FIRST ( not fun firing up the car to find it sitting in a puddle of fuel in your garage) below is one of the earls fittings that cost me my anal virginity

home sweet home, flares fitted with rubber strips between the bodywork and the flare, fluids in the car, piecing it all together now.. just finishing timing etc

very close!!

engine all together, very rough running, idle hunting etc...

so its head gasket time!!!!!!!

Head gasket replaced, still continued with timing issues and idle hunting until realising there was an air leak when they cut and shut my intake manifold... Glad to have that issue sorted

Waiting on a maddest clutvh pedal and I'm taking it for a drive!!!!!!

i had a custom tailshaft made to suit the T50 gearbox front and datsun diff rear.. i had both tailshafts and asked the guys to join them for me...

Thanks for the information. I have everything 4ag, just got a Ute and saw your post... which gave me motivation to do the same. Well, I wont be able to restore the truck for some time, but the motor I can start on.

Bent my original clutch pedal trying to take it out on its first drive, the maddest one is super strong and I'm about to install it

Any tips to swapping pedals ,looks simple but as always these things never are.. I think I read once the heater box needs to be removed? Can anyone confirm.....
