cheers pepper, i might end up using that..
Spent yesterday with a good mate wiring up the 4age, took ages to strip down the old loom which was in very good condition. Trying to make it look neat, all plugs are in which means there is no mystery wires I'm unsure of. ![]() Also had a go at the cooling side of things today and realised how much rwd stuff I need to get it up and running. Wtb 4age rwd alternator bracket 4age rwd water outlet pipe 4age ae82 bigport rear water housing with sensors also 4age clutch kit while I'm at it. I was happy with the wiring progress but frustrated by the cooling side of things. Damn cars

Busy day!!
Well rwd water parts got cleaned up and rwd alternator bracket painted ready for fitting.. ![]() ![]() Started by jacking up the car and removing the gearbox, ( THIS IS MY TORQUE STEER TAKE OF AT EASTERN CREEK DRAGS PIC!!!) ![]() Gave the inside of the bellhousing a good thorough clean and degrease.. fun fun. ![]() Ran down to the bolt shop to swap flywheel bolts because the ones i had purchased had too large heads and then could not tighten them next to the others once installed.. Southern Fasteners in kirrawee ( highly Recommended) swapped them over for free.. Also picked up some new bolts for the rwd water outlet while i was there. Super Cheap for some locktight and some gasket paper to make some gaskets.. Attached my newly machined flywheel, clutch and pressure plate and then realised i only have one retaining spring for my thrust bearing/clutch fork so installation of the t-50 gearbox will have to wait.... HERE IS A COOL CARTOON, GOD I LOVE THE JAPANESE!!!! ![]() Thanks to my mate puffy for assisting me on this whirlwind adventure today....

in that last pic its so shiny and white that it looks like a toy
im also in the same situation with mirrors, i dont really want external mirrors on the car but atleast need something for roadworthy then thinking that i could just buy a pair of mirrors but would want them to be the right ones if i have to drill into the door or guard to fit them. can also see things going bad with guard mirrors and thin taiwanese guards, as soon as someone knocks them the guard would pretty much be a write off
