if you put what state and or country your in People may be able to have something to go off as far as legal requirements. Most engineers like the the car to have the same or very close to the same braking power of the car the engine came out of. and 13b Turbo very hard to engineer in most states and even impossible same with SR20 go CA18 or L series.

By legit I imagine you mean - engineered and road registered.

Both those engines will require an understaning engineer.

You will have to modify fuel system, suspension, brakes, diff, cut up firewalls and transmission tunnel for starters - all under the periodic supervision of a agreeable engineer.

(At least that's what I've heard) - Easier to build a track only 1200 then it's up to you what you do with your brakes,etc....

Yeah Ca18det or L series engine even the A15's worked with webers go hard or Turbo an A series
Got a Turbo and Dump pipe here off an A series you would need a manifold though and have to decide what to run it through

You still have to get it engineered with a CA but its allowed. You can get a lot of the gear from MADDAT for the Ca conversion and its all engineer approved. Or you can hunt up bits like for example Stanza struts then modify them. There are quite a few CA dudes on here Who Know way more than me. Also will need to get a bigger diff say R31 skyline to take the torque increase. Its abig job and theres more to it than just struts and a diff but well worth it. Maddat Link
