Datsun 1200

Hey here are some pics of my 1200 as i have been building it. It has a sr20det motor, with 3540 and various other parts!

why did you have to cut into the firewall ?
coz with the maddat fitting kit apparently theres no need for firewall mods ?

for a few reasons, to fit a real radiator and thermo in, and also no matter how i tried i couldn't get a good angle on the motor and gearbox with the crossmember where it is...

did you use the maddat fitting kit or make it yourself? because maddat guarantees theres no need for firewall mods with there kit so they say?

Nah i made it my self, what im saying is i could have easily fit the motor in with out cutting the firewall, but i think the angles and motor position would not be as good as my setup.
