Thanks Davo, I made up some brackets of my own, I had a bit of mucking around getting some clearance in between the sump and the crossmember. And I also had to remove the mechanical
fuel pump and make a blanking plate to clear the engine mount. I've just got to do all the fiddly little things and some wiring(alternator) to get it going, then I'll take it to the
exhaust shop.

hey twitch,
can u do me a favor. when u get the engine running, tell me how it goes b4 and after the exhaust is attached. mine fit up no probs 4 some reason, so i still have a pea shooter, i
wanna know is it really worth changing the exhaust. Oh yeah tell me if u notice much difference in pace between a12 n a14 when shes done.
good luck
simmo

I'm expecting a fair improvement in power from the A14, Its replacing a stock A10. My a14 has hi compression pistons, headwork, cam and 2x40mm webers, extractors so it should go
pretty well. At the moment my 'pea-shooter' exhuast is shoved into the end of the extractors.. this is just a temporary measure until I get it running and up to the exhaust shop! :
)

I'll let you know how it goes, when I get my ignition sorted out
