Hi Datsunitis,

What tool are you using to search for the parts?

Thanks, looks like a great resource.

You answered the question while I was composing my post...

We never got the B10's here in the USA so that's out.
Yes, I acknowledged that B10's were not sold in the USA when I first suggested the B10 option, but I also wrote that they WERE sold in Canada,
which is just up the road from New York state, so you have a much better chance of securing one than say, someone in Texas. [where it's nice & warm]
Or am I missing something here? Is the competition open only to vehicles that were sold in the USA?

There are more than 3 in the us on craiglists recently, there was one recently perfect for this project in canada cheaply but I think the ad expired or sold. Heres another but way overpriced in the US

I'd emagine a guted 1200 coupmight be the next best? it would trade a little weight for a bit more areo dinamick's over a 1000 twodoor sedan?

and if every thin gthat wasent needed was removed i.e. trim, pasinger/rear seat, glass changed to perspect, fiber glass gard's and boot, remove bumper's, you could probly get it down to a half a tone (witch would mean you could leagaly carry it in the back of a 1200 ute HAHAHA)

git it sitting as low as posible, amybe move the radiator to the boot with some porscha stille louvers in it, so you can blank the grill of intirely.

I reckon Im gona hav a shot at this when I'm make'n the big buck's!

Best of luck!!

The critical part is the frontal area for most cars and the b10 rules there, it would be interesting to know the aero specs on the b10 and the b110 in their different guises though.
Surprisingly a 318bmw is .28 similar in shape to a b10 sedan but much bigger.

No, there is no stipulation on what market the car came from at all. I am just not aware of what hoops I'd have to jump through to import a Canadian car into the US.
