Hello all, after completing the GE sigma conversion myself from D's research and subsequently seeing many people ask about disk brake upgrade kits for their thou's i thought i'd make up a limited number for sale.

i have found them to be a massive upgrade in braking performance and with the pads have no fade i have encountered.

The kit will be a bolt on and consist of

Brand new disks
reconditioned calipers
new TRW pads good for 600+ degrees
mounting bracket and hardware
hubs with new bearings

price will be $565, original 1000 hoses can be used or $660 with new ADR approved braided flexible lines

I have the parts for only two kits at the moment. I advise that you run a twin resevoir master cylinder if you haven't already got one.

PM me if interested

Just a suggestion

I dont want to take any potential gains away from you,. Anyone who goes the the effort for the a series community deserves what ever you can get. Its never enough to pay for the time anyways.

To save on postage and to relieve some pressure from you, perhaps you should provide a parts list of the 'standard ' off the shelf parts required, and then just sell the special adaptor plates.

In order to prevent the research from dissapearing away (like it seems Dman1000s has), put the templates up no the web in an autocad format if possible or perhaps just drawings with the measurements.

Just for the record, I dont need a kit, I have one of Dmans kits thats still packed up in boxes.

Just a suggestions is all

hmmm, not a bad idea. I guess the stuff like the modified backing plate and the machined disks will get most started. Not having to source calipers and hubs would save me a lot of effort. Most people will find sourcing their own bits more expensive and might like the convenience of a kit but i'll work out a price on the other bits. I'll guage it on the interest i get i guess

I would take a complete kit, tho I have new front bearings already is it possible to save those? I take it they fit under 13" wheels...
