im going to disagre with the boys here and say go for the brown.. the whole cream sleeper/granny spec, chrome hubbys, white walls, sun viser look is realy worn out these days.. when i here "granny spec" i think dark brown, dented old corolla with mud flaps, plastic rear window lueve, stick on reflectors and sheep skin seat covers.. IMO thats a real sleeper!!

but any ways keep up the top notch work!!

Cheers for the input guys.
I cant really say I want to build a sleeper.
I dont think I would waste time on the body and paint if thats what I was after.
Im more for building a 1200 that makes me smile and make others say go the datto.
Nothing better than when an old fella stops you in the shopping centre carpark and tells you about his old datto.

The old girl has sat neglected for a while now. Need to get back into it this year.
The 1000 wag is still locked up in a shipping container. I have no plans to get back into it for a while yet. Time come though.

Well it seems you are faster than I am. I have been going close to 8 years on my ute now. Only reason I still have her was original agreement with current wife..."It goes, you go!"
It was all go for 2 years, then sat in a rented shed for four years, now it sits in my new shed in my new house. I am also going to get it finished, soon....right after I buy another one for a daily.
Good luck! I look forward to reading on your progress.
