Well its been awhile since I have been on here And I started a thread up in the main fourm and then noticed that there was a project thread, so here it goes.

I have finally been able to start work on my 72 coupe, I had to sell my 71 sedan since i was involved in a accident, and money got tight but thought I would share smoe pics of progress on my coupe

This is what it looked like when I first got it






Here is when my kids where helping me lower the rear a little more




Here is the donor car I picked up

Here is after changing out everything from the fire wall forward, including the front frame rails

Somebody had filled in the rear bumper mounting holes.........




So I decided to take it a step further




With a little filler. After fully welding and grinding down smooth

Find some rust in the rear roll pan so I cut it out........




And then found some more.........




So I sat there trying to decide what to do with this giant hole in th rear of my car
So I came up with this.










Needs a little more triming but you can get the idea

Well I got a chance to work on the coupe today, back was feeling pretty good, and well here is the progress.

Patched a small spot in the floor




And finished up frenching the rear license plate
