Just found a electronic distributer for my turbo A15 and after advice as to what sort of coil I would be best to use. At the moment I'm using a Gt40r coil, but have been told that a Blaster 2 would be a good upgrade.
Don't really want to go to an ugly MSD unit, would like to stick to the round cyclinder type ones if possible.
Any advice much appricated.

Surely any sort of electronic dizzy coil should do. Try one off a series 2 bluebird of any blue or black motor commodore 6. (old pushrod motor) They are all pretty much the same. They put out 40KV easily.

Just been looking up the MSD Blaster and these coils put out up to 45Kv, so more volts more spark

There are 2 types of coil. with or without balast resister. Seeing as you said GT40R i would say your still running a resister? Piss it off(join the wires up) and run a high amp non resister coil! Easy!

The MSD Blaster 2 is a round cylinder type.
