Theres no reason why not. The five speed will definately help it if the engine has enough torque. My old coupe, stock A15 with 14' mags did 160kph all day and didn't budge on hills. It wouldn't rev past 6K but it wouldn't budge if you took your foot off the go pedal.
I had a worked A12 in it before that that I had to nearly 190kph coming home from diggers rest on the calder on a slight downhill with 4 people in the car!

Back in the 80's my bog stock 1200 coupe used to nudge 100 mph (according to the speedo) down the straight on Mona Vale rd heading east from Forrest way.

Around the gauge twice? Or off the clock on two seperate occasions? Standard speedo should have a pin at 0km/h so you can never go around the gauge once let alone twice.

I've seen 160km/h in my A12 powered 120y
at the time all it had was a free flowing exhaust and an oval port head (i recon she still had a little more in her aswell, but not much!) but ever since then, occasionally when i'm travelling just over 100km/h the speedo will jump up another 15-20km/h momentarily. it
