im mainly after big brakes for the a14 turbs project so i spose having no major camber gains is alright i spose

just out of interest, what size rotors does the vanette have? let us know how this set up works, anything has got to be better than the drim brakes.

not sure on the diameter i will measure them tomorow but they are fairly large not to many 13in wheels fit on

You have the vanette lower control arm to compare? Also which model vanette is this?

they don't need boosting.. heaps of surface area..
and they only have to stop 650kg...

no sorry i dont have the LCA off the vanette and i have been told it was off a nomad? but they share the same front end as with the vanettes as i used the upper, lower balljoints and tie rod off a vanette hopefully today i will have the modified upper control arm and the i will be getting the arm between the inner and outer tierods machined up then hopefully it will work but i have to still rebuild the calipers

also if anyone is intrested i may start selling conversion kits

What is the possibility of using the whole front end of a vannette or nomad??
Are the lower and upper control arms similar to the origninal 1000 arms and will they bolt to the crossmember??

i have no idea as i didnt pull it off but they are similar in design

you dont know the year? as the 87/88 models have even bigger vented brakes.

ill have a measure of the disc and maybe you would be able to find out?
