I'm willing to give them a chance to find their feet, at least the celebrities are people we know and the politicians in the news of familiar names....you're right they are no where near as funny as the poms....but then the 1st season of UK topgear wasn't fantastic either.

well has some one who is about to buy a xtrail i was glued to the tv and wat was the out come, nothin wtf they did a race on sand where one guy stopped coz hes a sh1t driver offroad one made his own track and the other does a jump and all most crash's they had no conclushion
and a million dollar merc the guy was loveing these plug in head fone's wtf they should be blue tooth i could juge cars better than them fools it got me pissed off so i turned it off

Yeah Jordy, I totally agree about TG AUS. We have a Subaru Forester and it's great, but with a family not enough room! My old man has the X-trail and loves it (it is more powerfull) but the 4WD system is a pain, cannot go over 80kph in 4wd. No problem for most people, but I love the safety & grip of constant 4wd (or AWD). In the end think carefully about both vehicles, they are both very good

Your right there Jordy. Ive got an 2005 Xtrail and its bloody great and would love to upgrade to the new model. But nothing came out of last nights test. Just great fun and a Kluger with some front end damage

But thats what motor and wheels mag are for.

I hated it with a passion, the presenters voices anoyed me and they definately tried to hard.

They said the aussie show would be just a bonus for fans, If we didn't like it we could just keep on watching the UK version instead, where has it gone? I love the UK version.

hmmmm some xtrail fans out there :) , i run a parking co and every one that brings one in i ask them wat they think and yet to have a complaint , i like the forester but need more room has i have one kid with number 2 in the oven .

I thought it was just an exact copy of the UK version thought they might make it a bit more Australian even down to the voice tones and sizes of the presenters the mirror UK top gear I suppose it is a franchise
