Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all your replies and support. At this stage, I don't think it's necessary to 'name and shame'.'That really wasn't my intention. The very fact that I've brought it up on this forum should be enough punishment. What I was trying to get across was just be more diligent when buying parts unseen or interstate. This is a great forum with many, many honest and helpful members. It's up to all of us to make sure it stays that way. Over a month ago (in frustration no doubt), I cut and modified the rear arms to suit (they are no good for a sedan now). They fit okay but not exactly where I want them. I took out the headlining and the main hoop just squeezes in. Of course, the front arms are no good to me. My son will be starting off in motorkhanas then hillclimbs next year so the half roll cage will be okay until we have enough in the kitty to get a proper CAMS spec cage made up. I've hardly touched the car since all this happened but I'm starting to get my enthusiasm for the little Datto back....I guess you all know that when the Datto Bug bites hard....it's hard to let go! Sorry if I offended you Dodgeman...and for the record, it wasn't you so you're in the clear! Maybe I should have said conned.....but then I guess ROConnor would have said the same thing!!! Anyway, here's to bigger an better things...by the way, has anybody tried to fit a Jaguar V12 in a 1200 Coupe?? Just kidding fellas..... Cheers Powloo

To avoid any possibility of confusion I thought that 'screwed over' might have been appropriate, but then, perhaps it's too strong a term. No harm done & at least ROConnor managed to spell my name correctly this time so that's a bonus too.

Sure really makes you a bit gun shy when you get screwed.
I can say after buying some stuff of Powloo that his is the honest and friendly kind of guy you wish everyone would be.

Yeah Powloo is great to deal with. No mucking around and parts are well looked after.Got some Coupe quarter glass and frames off him. After getting another set that had been welded up and warped so bad to get the glass in i would have had to break them or the glass. They to remain nameless.
